Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC), Gill Park, Ludhiana, came alive with excitement and cultural vibrancy as the much-anticipated two-day festival, "Anand Utsav 2025," commenced on March 6, 2025. The event featured a diverse range of cultural competitions, fostering an atmosphere of creativity, celebration, and camaraderie.

Students from various departments enthusiastically participated in activities such as solo and group dances, folk performances, skits, mehndi, rangoli, clay modeling, photography, and poster making, showcasing their talents. Distinguished judges from esteemed institutions ensured fair evaluation of the competitions.

Renowned Punjabi personalities, including Padma Shri awardee and actor Nirmal Rishi, singer-actor Hardeep Grewal, singer Pali Detwalia, writer Harkirat Kaur Chahal, and writer Ashok Bansal, graced the occasion. They lauded the students for their outstanding achievements and encouraged them to uphold cultural values and integrity.

GNDEC Principal Dr Sehijpal Singh underscored the role of such events in boosting student confidence and fostering cultural appreciation. S. Iqbal Singh, Director of Nankana Sahib Education Trust, and S. Gurcharan Singh Grewal, Senior Trustee of NSET, commended the students for their excellence in academics, sports, and cultural activities, acknowledging the efforts of the Cultural Committee.

The seamless execution of "Anand Utsav 2025" was credited to the dedicated efforts of Dr KS Mann, Prof Jaswant Singh Taur, Dr Parampal Singh, and the programme coordinators and Cultural Committee members.
