During the preliminary investigation, it was revealed that the quarter where the man died by suicide belonged to his friend. His friend had gone home for some personal work. Javjalhar went into his room and hanged himself.

The police said the investigation suggests the soldier had been distressed for some time. He had divorced his wife. The police will proceed with further action after the autopsy on Sunday. The police have informed the deceased’s family in Maharashtra. They will take further action in the case only after his family’s arrival.
