Assistant civil surgeon inspects Payal health centre
Seeks direct feedback from patients regarding quality of services, behaviour of staff at facility
Dr Vivek Kataria, Assistant Civil Surgeon, Ludhiana, conducted an inspection at the Community Health Centre (CHC), Payal, to review the functioning and quality of service at the facility.
During the visit, Dr Kataria assessed various departments, including the outpatient department (OPD), laboratory, pharmacy and maternal and child health (MCH) wing. The inspection aimed to ensure that all healthcare services were being delivered efficiently and in accordance with the government’s health standards.
Dr Kataria also interacted with doctors, nursing staff and other healthcare workers to discuss ongoing programmes, patient care practices and record maintenance. Emphasis was laid on maintaining cleanliness, ensuring the availability of essential
medicines and strengthening preventive healthcare measures.
As part of the visit, direct feedback was taken from patients regarding the quality of services and staff behaviour at the facility; and their levels of satisfaction with the facility. Most patients expressed appreciation for the timely and cooperative services provided at the centre.
Dr Kataria instructed the staff to continue improving service delivery and to focus on patient-centred care. The visit reaffirmed the commitment of the Health Department to provide accessible, reliable and high-quality healthcare services to the residents of Payal and nearby areas.
