The ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, hosted the Gunvatta Yatra Programme, an awareness session focused on National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) accreditation, its benefits and transformative impact on healthcare delivery.
The event was successfully conducted with around 65 delegates from across the state.
It began with a welcome address by Medical Superintendent Aparajita Sophia D’souza, who stated that in today’s healthcare environment, where quality was the cornerstone of patient safety, initiatives such as these help ed institutions evolve from routine functioning to excellence-driven, system-driven and outcome-driven practices.
The Dean, Dr Inder Pawar, highlighted the importance of the NABL accreditation and said its pursuit was not merely a procedural requirement but it represented a systematic approach to ensuring accuracy in diagnostic services.
