The School of Business Studies (SBS), Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), welcomed Dr Pratibha Goyal, former Vice-Chancellor of Ram Avadh Lohia University, Ayodhya, to its academic team as professor of Business Management.
“Dr Goyal brings a wealth of expertise and experience to SBS and it is a privilege to have her here,” said Dr Ramandeep Singh, Director, SBS, while welcoming her to PAU. He added that her expertise and passion for teaching and research would undoubtedly enhance the academic programmes — BSc (Hons) Agribusiness (AB) Management, MBA, MBA (AB) and PhD in Business Administration — and contribute to the growth and development of the school.
In addition, Dr Shaina Jain, an SBS alumna now working as a lecturer at the University of Lincoln, United Kingdom, visited and interacted with the students. With research expertise in sustainable agricultural practices and sustainable supply chains in agriculture, food systems and the circular economy, she spoke about current agribusiness trends that are transforming the entire business, food and economic landscape.
Dr Singh noted that such events are encouraged as they provide students with opportunities to learn from the experiences of their seniors and inspire them to strive for excellence.
