Bakery training course concludes at agri varsity
A Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, sponsored project NIDHI-TBI in association with the School of Business Studies, Skill Development Centre, and the Department of Food Science and Technology of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) organised a three-day event, ‘Bakery and Confectionery Training for Agripreneurs,’ which concluded successfully on the campus.
The NIDHI-TBI, operating under the aegis of the PAU, provided hands-on training and essential skills in baking and confectionery to the attendees, enabling the aspiring entrepreneurs to develop value-added products from agricultural produce. The training sessions brought together a dynamic group of aspiring agripreneurs, creating an enriching and interactive learning experience. The training programme was designed to equip the participants with the essential baking skills, entrepreneurial acumen, and technical expertise needed to thrive in the food industry. The sessions covered a range of topics, including ingredient selection, modern baking techniques, food safety regulations, and market strategies for scaling up businesses.
