BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, Ludhiana, was declared the winner of the ‘Cyber Safe School Award’ at a national-level event organised by CyberPeace Foundation in collaboration with the NCERT and Google.org.
The historic achievement made the school the first in the state to have achieved the feat, demonstrating its unwavering commitment to cybersecurity. The school introduced the Cyber Ambassador Club in 2018, and since then, members have carried out programmes and activities to sensitise students on cybersecurity, said Ambica Soni, club in charge.
The award ceremony brought together a number of global experts, policymakers, industry leaders, and members of academia to discuss and deliberate on the pressing challenges to trust and safety in the digital age.
