While addressing a press conference at Shehanshah Palace on Ferozepur Road, Sirsa has warned voters in the Ludhiana West segment to beware of the ‘lootera gang’ rejected by Delhi residents as after looting Delhi now, they have eyes on Punjab. Sirsa has promised if the BJP gets a chance to represent the West constituency, in coming 1.5 years, not only the Central Government but also the Delhi Government will work for the betterment of the city.

Sirsa claimed that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal when rejected by the Delhi people in the election, did not stand even for a day with them and reached Punjab as he could not stay without power.

He attacked Kejriwal by saying like the liquor mafia, now, land mafia has also come from Delhi to Punjab and this government was planning to hire 25,000 acres in villages of the state.

Sirsa said Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and other AAP leaders would fill their pockets by selling the prime land of the state to builders.

He said he had come to highlight the modus operandi of Kejriwal and his team.

Sirsa said: “This looters’ gang has three ways to loot. Like in Delhi, they first announced to end paddy straw problem with the help of some chemical even when there was no such issue in Delhi and they purchased compound at the cost of Rs 28 lakh and spent Rs 32 crore on its advertisement. Afterwards, they paid Rs 83 lakh to children belonging to the SC community in the form of scholarships and spent Rs 50 crore for the promotion of the scheme.

Similarly, the Delhi government had started an odd even scheme whereas it has no role in the same but they still spent Rs 55 crore in Delhi on its advertisement.” Now money from Punjab is being drained out by the AAP government in other states as well, he added.

He said the Modi-led Central Government has reduced the number of people living below poverty line from 344.47 million to 75.24 million. He said BJP ruling states were much flourished and developed as compared to Punjab.

Sirsa sought votes for Jiwan Gupta and appealed to voters to give him a chance, only then development would take place here. He said AAP instead of curbing drugs menace, increased the problem and now, it has reached schools as well. He said videos of girls using drugs were going viral on social media and it was shameful for the state.

Meanwhile, leaders, including Jagpal Singh Nambderdar, booth in-charge, Aam Aadmi Party, Satpal Singh Khalsa, vice-president SC Morcha, AAP rural, Janak Raj, booth in-charge, Raj Kumar ex-block president AAP rural, Bhupinder Kumar and Kanwardeep Singh joined the BJP in the presence of Sirsa.

State BJP general secretary Anil Sarin, district president Rajnish Dhiman, Parminder Singh Brar, Gurdev Sharma Debi were among other party leaders present.
