Jain said the counting of votes and postal ballots will commence at 7 am in the presence of election observers, candidates and their authorised representatives. Robust security measures have been implemented, including the deployment of paramilitary forces at counting centres to safeguard EVMs and VVPAT machines. Continuous monitoring is ensured through closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance.
