Bypoll: Counting of votes to begin at 7 am tomorrow

Jain said the counting of votes and postal ballots will commence at 7 am in the presence of election observers, candidates and their authorised representatives. Robust security measures have been implemented, including the deployment of paramilitary forces at counting centres to safeguard EVMs and VVPAT machines. Continuous monitoring is ensured through closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance.
The DEO said entry to the counting centres would be strictly regulated, allowing only candidates, their representatives, media personnel and authorised individuals with valid identity cards issued by the Election Commission.
