The Department of Commerce of Arya College Girls Section, Ludhiana, organised a ten-day course on financial literacy to make students adept in managing finances. The value-added course was inaugurated by incharge Dr Mamta Kohli. The content of the course focused on financial planning, various modes of savings, and the workings of financial institutions. Practical knowledge regarding digital modes of financial transactions was also taught during the programme. ACMC secretary SM Sharma and Principal Suksham Ahluwalia appreciated the efforts of the department for spreading awareness about financial topics among the girls.

Spring Dale Public School

Spring Dale Public School celebrated Christmas with great fervour. A festive aura prevailed on campus as tiny tots arrived dressed as Santa, fairies, reindeers etc. The school organised fun games and a dance party. The ‘Jingle Bell’dance remained the most mesmerising event of the day. The selfie corner was well appreciated, and everyone clicked pictures for memory’s sake. Each section of the KG performed an act, creating a Christmas spirit and cheer.

Nankana Sahib Public School

Students of Nankana Sahib Public School showed off their talent in the 21st Virsa Sambhal Gatka Cup 2024. The event was organised in the memory of Mata Gujri Kaur, the four Sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh, and all Sikh martyrs by Amar Shaheed Dhan Dhan Baba Deep Singh Ji International Gatka Akahada, Gurudwara Sri Bhattha Sahib, Ropar. In the Dumala tying competition, Gurpreet Singh of Class VIII secured the first place, and Ranbir Singh of Class VII succeeded in achieving the third position.
