Campus notes: Arya College Girls Section
The home science department at Arya College Girls Section, Ludhiana, organised a visit to Oliver Day Care and Play School for first year students. The purpose of the visit was to help students understand the cognitive, motor and emotional development in pre-school children. Appreciating the efforts of the department, the secretary of ACMC, SM Sharma, said these kind of visits helped in improve practical understanding of concepts among students. Principal Dr Suksham Ahluwalia and incharge Mamta Kohli said such visits helped encourage experiential learning among students. The visit was successfully conducted by Dr Rupinder Kaur.
Spring Dale School
The new academic session commenced at Springdale with new hopes, aspirations and commitments. The school campus was all set to welcome the students on the very first day of the session. Colourful balloons made the students feel special. Their beaming faces added a new life to the campus. The tiny tots of kindergarten and the primary students received special welcome badges and takeaways from their class incharges. Worthy teachers welcomed the students with a shower of flowers.

The PG department of computer science at Arya College, Ludhiana, organised a workshop on shell scripting for cybersecurity. Ansh Aneja, the CEO of ANSH InfoTech, hosted an insightful session on the crucial role of shell scripting in enhancing cybersecurity. Aneja, a leading expert in the field, delivered a compelling presentation on the topic, shedding light on the practical applications of shell scripting in safeguarding digital assets. The session provided valuable insights and practical examples, equipping attendees with a deeper understanding of how shell scripting could be leveraged for enhanced cybersecurity. Dr Sharma Dr Ahluwalia appreciated the efforts of the department and urged them to continue their efforts. Dr Rama Bansal, incharge of the department of computer science, expressed her sincere gratitude to all for their active participation and engagement.
CT University
CT University's annual athletics meet concluded on a high note, with the School of Law being crowned the 'Overall Champions'. The two-day event, held at the university's sports ground, witnessed a spectacular display of athleticism, camaraderie, and sportsmanship among students from various schools. The School of Engineering and Technology secured the first runner-up position, while the School of Arts, Science, and Humanities claimed the second Runner-up spot. The event showcased the dedication, resilience, and winning spirit of CT University's students. The event featured a diverse array of track and field events, including sprints, relays, jumps, and throws.
