Campus Notes: BCM Arya model sr sec school
Ludhiana: BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, organised TechManthan 2.0 to celebrate innovation. This two-day event featured seven online and offline challenges and 222 participants from 39 national and two international schools (from Dubai and Nigeria). ‘Code Craft AI’ saw budding coders designing complex algorithms and the ‘3D World’ challenge invited students to create immersive virtual environments. The closing ceremony commenced with a floral welcome for the chief guest, Dr Mandeep Kaur, head, IT Department, CT University.
BCM School
Under the guidance of Sanskriti Verma, head, media department, mass media students of BCM School, Chandigarh road, visited Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, Chandigarh. The students were provided with an opportunity to step inside the world of radio, gaining practical insights into the workings of a live station. During the visit, the students interacted with renowned RJs, who not only shared their experiences but also demonstrated how to go on air and the intricate workings of the studio. The creative producer, Ansh also engaged with the students, expressing his appreciation for their enthusiasm and curiosity.
Bhartiya vidya mandir
Students of classes IX and X of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir got the opportunity to witness democracy in action during their visit to the Parliament yesterday. The visit was a part of the school’s ongoing initiative to provide students with experiential learning opportunities. Accompanied by their social sciences teachers and Principal Seema Gupta, the students spent the day observing the legislative processes, gaining insights into the functioning of the government. The visit was organized for the BVM group of schools by the members of the BVM Trust. “These experiences are vital in shaping our students into informed and active citizens, ready to contribute positively to society,” the principal said.
