Ludhiana: Ryan lnternational School, Jamalpur , hosted ‘Junk Box 2024 — Inter-school Art and Craft Competition’. As many as nine schools of the city participated in the event. The aim of the competition was to educate the students on how waste material could be brought to productive use. DAV, BRS Nagar, won the first prize in home decor category for class IX students and Ryan International School, Dugri, won the first prize in the selfie point category for class X students.
Spring Dale Public School
Students of Spring Dale Public School have once again brought laurels to the institution with their performance at the 68th Punjab School Games Taekwondo Tournament at the district level. They collectively secured an impressive total of five gold, two silver and 10 bronze medals across various categories. Navya Yadav (VIII), Ankita Kumari (XI) and Damanpreet got the gold in U-14,17 and 19 categories, respectively.
DAV Public School
DAV Public School, Pakhowal road, observed the Ved Prachar Saptah. The week-long celebrations culminated in a grand ceremony with Bhajan Sandhya. The event aimed to spread the philosophy of the Vedas and promote Indian culture, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students, teachers and parents.
Nankana Sahib Public School
To strengthen the bond of students with their native tongue Punjabi and for honing their oratory skills, Nankana Sahib Public School, Gill Park, organised Punjabi declamation for classes VI to XII. As many as 40 students participated. They showcased their skills by expressing their thoughts on subjects including Pawan Guru Pani Pita Mata Dharat Mahat, Man Jeete Jagjit, Saaddi Sanskriti Saadda Sabhyachar, Kismat Mehnat Kardeyan Badaldi Hai, Niagar Rahim Punjabi Boli.
