DCM young entrepreneur school
The vibrant spirit of Punjabi culture engulfed DCM Young Entrepreneur School as students and teachers came together to celebrate the festival of Teej with enthusiasm. The festivities included a series of engaging competitions that highlighted the rich heritage of Punjab. Students showcased their talents in dance and singing competitions, exhibited their creativity in henna art and displayed their flair for fashion in a lively fashion show. In addition to the cultural events, the school arranged traditional sawan sweets such as kheer and malpuas for students and teachers. Swings were also installed to enhance the festive atmosphere, allowing everyone to partake in the joyous celebrations. All participants and attendees embraced the occasion by donning traditional attire.
Nankana sahib public school
Proving their sportspersonship at a tender age, the players of Nankana Sahib Public School, Gill Park, won the first position in the zonal U-14 volleyball tournament. The event was organised at Sacred Soul Convent School, Dhandhran. Six of the team have been selected for the district level. These include Raghav, Jagir Singh, Amanjot Singh, Prabhkirat Singh, Sukhkirat Singh and Jasnoor Singh. Principal Harmeet Kaur Waraich congratulated the team and the teacher behind them.
Guru nanak int’l public school
Guru Nanak International Public School (GNIPS) I Block bagged the second position in the U-14 zonal chess tournament for boys held at BCM School, Lalton, Dolon Khurad. The team included Gurshabad Singh, Jaskaran Singh, Harnoor Singh and Sambhav Sharma.
Spring dale play school
Keeping the theme of merriment and festivity alive, Spring Dale Play School celebrated Hariyali Teej with gaiety. The campus was adorned with vibrant decorations, and the little Springdalians added a splash of colour to the celebrations as they arrived dressed in traditional Punjabi attire. Their enthusiasm shone through as they danced to lively Punjabi tunes, entertaining all present. To elevate the festive spirit, titles were awarded to standout participants.
BCM Arya international
The investiture ceremony of BCM Arya International was held in the school conference hall. The ceremony started with a welcome song. Principal Dr Jasneev Seth administered the oath of office to the newly-elected council members who pledged to carry out their responsibilities with integrity and dedication. Former proctorial board members were awarded with trophies and certificates.
Shamrock christian sr sec school
Senior students of Shamrock Christian Senior Secondary School celebrated Teej — the festival of rain and swings — with pomp and show. The campus was beautifully decorated with swings and motifs related to the festival. The yearly celebration marks the advent of the monsoon. Students came dressed in ethnic wear. Phulkaris, madhanis and rangoli added to the vibrant ambience. Students performed bhangra and gidda to traditional beats. The modelling round was also well applauded.
