The CBSE Class XII examinations started on Monday. Students performed well in the first exam of physical education.

About 14,000 students are expected to appear for the exams this year in Ludhiana district, including Khanna.

Students will take the examinations at 31 centres in the district.

The timings of the examinations are 10 am to 1:30 pm. The next exam of physics will be conducted on February 21.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
