Vice-Chancellor Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, who has an immense desire to promote floriculture in Punjab, will inaugurate the show on December 2 at 12.30 pm.

Dr Parminder Singh, Head, Department of Floriculture and Landscaping, said that the show would exhibit several recommended varieties of chrysanthemum, developed by the PAU. The competition will be organised in 12 classes, he informed. The show will also provide visitors an opportunity to interact with the experts over growing ornamental and foliage plants, he added.
