The Indian Medical Association (IMA), Ludhiana, in an academic collaboration with the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, Delhi, successfully conducted a continuing medical education (CME) programme on recent advancements in breast cancer management and childhood malignancies.
The well-attended event aimed to keep local doctors updated on cutting-edge oncology practices. Dr Aparajita Sophia D’Souza, MS, from ESI Hospital, was the chief guest.
Dr Manoj Sobti, patron, IMA, acted as the PMC observer for the day. Dr Pankaj Goyal delivered an informative session on Recent advancements in breast cancer management.
Dr Sandeep Jain spoke on childhood malignancies, emphasising the critical importance of early diagnosis and management.
