CME on ‘One Health’ held at DMCH

The Department of Community Medicine of Dayanand Medical College and Hospital organised a continuing medical education (CME) session today on ‘One Health’ for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.

On this occasion, Dr Anurag Chaudhary, Professor and HoD, highlighted the theme “One World, One Health: United for Human, Animal and Environmental Well-being”, adding that One Health was a important concept describing deep connection between humans, animals and plants. To ensure good health of human beings it was very important that the environment also remained healthy, he added.

Dr GS Wander, Principal, urged the students to commit themselves towards this goal. Dr Sandeep Kaushal stressed on the prevention of antimicrobial resistance.
