College notes: Arya college
Department of political science of Arya College (girls section) organised a quiz with an aim to ‘enlighten the students with the latest happenings in political systems around the world’. Five teams participated in the competition. College Principal Dr Suksham Ahluwalia congratulated the students for their enthusiastic participation and motivated them to continue their endeavours with the same zeal. Vani, Chahat, Shivani and Pallavi secured the first position.
BCM College of education
Second semester BEd students of BCM College of Education secured the third and fourth positions in Panjab University BEd results. Amarjit Kaur stood third by scoring 88.9 per cent marks, followed by Arti and Ashneet in the fourth position with 88.6 per cent. As many as 46 students have scored more than 80 per cent.
