On the occasion of the birth anniversaries of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, Congress workers paid floral tributes to them. The event was organised at Sarabha Nagar under the leadership of senior Congress leader and former District Congress Committee (Urban) president Pawan Dewan.

While addressing the gathering, Dewan said Gandhi’s life of truth, non-violence and simplicity was an inspiration for all. The true tribute to him would be to follow his ideology and principles.

"By walking on this path, we can guide our country and society towards a better future," he said.

The workers also remembered Lal Bahadur Shastri's remarkable contributions to the nation.
