A lively encounter was witnessed during the roadshows of Congress candidate Bharat Bhushan Ashu and Aam Aadmi Party candidate Sanjeev Arora as the convoys of both the leaders crossed paths in Ghumar Mandi. As the supporters and cavalcade of vehicles were crossing paths, the atmosphere charged up and supporters started raising slogans in support of the respective parties and candidates.

Interestingly, leaders of both the parties, who otherwise had been indulging in mudslinging during the election campaigning, greeted each other with smiles.

Ashu was accompanied by former CM Charanjit Singh Channi, AICC Punjab affairs incharge Bhupesh Baghel, Shahkot MLA Hardev Singh Laddi Sherowalia, Rana Gurjit MLA from Kapurthala and other senior Congress leaders. Meanwhile, Arora was accompanied by former deputy AM of Delhi Manish Sisodia, AAP Punjab president Aman Arora and MLA Hardeep Singh Mundian.

As the vehicles of both the candidates passed each other, Sisodia folded his hands towards Ashu, who reciprocated the gesture. Arora, too, greeted the Congress candidate and leaders with a smiling face. Supporters captured the moment, which went viral on social media.
