CP inaugurates technical support unit building
Ludhiana, August 21
Kuldeep Singh Chahal, Commissioner of Police, inaugurated the newly constructed building of the Technical Support Unit on the premises of Crime Branch-1 Ludhiana today.
During the inauguration, Jaskiranjit Singh Teja, Deputy Commissioner Police, Amandeep Singh Brar Additional Deputy Commissioner Police (Investigation), Rajan Sharma, Assistant Commissioner of Police Detective-1 and Inspector Rajesh Kumar, in-charge crime branch, Ludhiana, was also present.
To make Ludhiana crime-free, the CP has provided logger systems, many other forensic tools, location apps, and latest computers to keep a 24-hour watch on criminal activities, said officials.
With this new unit, all criminals data will be available at just one click. A separate log room has also been constructed in the building of this technical support unit in which the conversations of gangsters, robbers and everyone else with their families can be recorded.
