Damaged high-tension cable fixed near Punjab Agricultural University gate

The work for repairing underground high-tension cable on Ferozepur Road near one of the gates of Punjab Agricultural University was done today. The underground cable got damaged on Wednesday and the PSPCL had called an expert team from Delhi for repairing the same. It was the second time that the cable got damaged within one-and-a-half month.
After the cable got damaged, the load was shifted to alternate cable and power was restored but the fault was removed today. It took around seven hours to repair the damaged cable.
