Deputy Commissioner-cum-Municipal Corporation Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney reviewed the ongoing projects to clean the Buddha Nullah here. During the meeting, the DC also directed the authorities concerned to intensify the plantation drive alongside the water body.

MC Additional Commissioner Paramdeep Singh, Assistant Commissioner Kritika Goyal, DRO Gurjinder Singh and officials of the PPCB and Drainage Department were among those present.

Representatives of RS MP Balbir Singh Seechewal, who have been planting trees along the nullah under the guidance of the MP, also attended the meeting.

Sawhney directed the officials concerned to expedite the projects. She also urged residents to assist the authorities in spreading greenery across the city.
