DIG Jagdale honours cops for major drug recoveries

Nilambari Jagdale, DIG, Ludhiana Range, as per the directions of the Punjab Government honoured several cops of the Khanna police district and Ludhiana rural police for actively taking forward the campaign against drugs and ensuring the recovery of a large quantity of drugs by nabbing smugglers. The Khanna police officials who were honoured were SI Jarnail Singh, SI Narinderpal Singh, ASI Jagtar Singh, ASI Sukhwinder Singh, ASI Hakam Singh and ASI Satpal Singh. These officials recovered large quantities of drugs and arrested several smugglers. The officials were awarded certificates and cash rewards.

Similarly, DIG Jagdale, along with Dr Ankur Gupta, Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana rural, distributed cash rewards and certificates to investigating officers, who had shown a good performance by conducting investigations and recovering the most drugs.

Inspector Hira Singh was awarded Rs 15,000, SI Jaswinder Singh, SI Kulwinder Singh and SI Gursewak Singh, ASIs Sukhmandar Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Sukhwinder Singh, Gursewak Singh and Manjit Singh were awarded Rs 10,000 each.
