As many as 16 teachers of Government Senior Secondary School, Ladowal, have been charge-sheeted by the DPI Schools. Disciplinary action has been taken against the teachers following an inquiry report submitted by the inquiry officer during one of the inspections conducted about a month-and-a-half back.
The teachers have been charge-sheeted as they came late to the school and did not inform timely about the reason of being late or whether they had availed of leave.
The DEO Secondary, Dimple Madan, confirmed about the teachers being charge-sheeted. At the same time, Dimple said that a tussle was going on between a few teachers, and this was a deliberate attempt to bring disrepute to the school. “I being the DEO, should have been informed by the inquiry officer, but none took me into confidence and the report was submitted. There is no big issue and we provide few minutes if someone has any emergency,” said the DEO Secondary.
