Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, has appointed Dr Harpal Singh Randhawa as the new director of the PAU Regional Research Station in Gurdaspur.
Dr Harpal Singh Randhawa is known for his contributions to research, extension and teaching activities. He has developed 50 recommendations covering plant protection, crop production and varietal development for the ‘Package of Practices’ for field, fruit and vegetable crops. He has also presented 94 research papers in NAAS-rated refereed journals and proceedings of national and international symposia and conferences. — TNS
