Dr Inderjeet Singh today joined as the Vice-Chancellor of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana.

Dr Inderjeet Singh was working as Director of the Animal Husbandry Department, Punjab, since November 2018. He has been working in the field of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry Sector for the past three decades. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, and did his PhD in Animal Reproduction from University of Liverpool, UK. He got many overseas professional recognitions and assignments. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
