Drug addict ‘attacks’ man with scissors
A man was injured and taken to the hospital today when a drug addict attacked him with a pair of scissors.
Devinder Kumar, paternal uncle of the victim Malkit, said that he was working as a guard at a government health clinic. When he was away for two days from the clinic in Haibowal area, a few youths started taking drugs there.
When he returned, he and his nephew Malkit asked them not to come. On Thursday, one of the addicts, Sandeep Kumar, reportedly a hair dresser, came to the clinic and when he saw Malkit, he attacked him with a pair of scissors. The latter was taken to the Civil Hospital.
