Ludhiana, January 18

The ED has arrested Niraj Saluja, former director of SEL Textiles Limited, for bank fraud of Rs 1,530.99 crore. The ED had also conducted search at his premises on January 12. During the ED’s raid at 14 premises, Rs 60 lakh and various incriminating evidence were seized.

According to highly placed sources, Saluja was arrested this evening at the ED’s Jalandhar office where he had gone to tender statement after being summoned in the bank fraud case.
