With the aim of promoting the importance of organ donation, Dayanand Medical College and Hospital’s Department of Nephrology, Urology and Kidney Transplant, organised an exhibition in the OPD Block on the occasion of World Organ Donation Day.

The purpose of conducting the exhibition was to educate the community on the various aspects of organ donation.

Principal GS Wander said medical advancements have made organ transplants safer and more accessible. “Organ donation is not just a medical procedure but a ray of hope for patients and families. We should come together to support the cause and bridge the gap between demand and availability,” he said. Dr Vikas Makkar, Professor and Department Head of Nephrology, was also present on the occasion.
