Four booked for gangrape of minor
A case of gang-rape of a teenage girl has been reported, following which the Salem Tabri police have registered an FIR against four accused. None of them has been arrested so far.
According to available information, the 17-year-old girl is a local resident. On January 13, the girl was strolling on the rooftop of her house when her neighbour, known to her, called her out, offered her juice laced with some intoxicant and allegedly raped her, along with his three other friends.
The girl said that she was alone on the Lohri night when she got a call from her neighbour Chetan, who requested her to bring water for him. When the girl went to give him water, Chetan was accompanied by three more friends Vikas (1), Vikas (2) and Ali. The accused offered the girl a glass of juice, in which some intoxicant was allegedly mixed.
She maintained that after drinking it, she fell unconscious and then the four accused allegedly raped her. All accused are absconding.
