Four thieves nabbed, 9 vehicles recovered

Davinder Kumar, ACP North, stated that a police party led by Sub-Inspector Gurmeet Singh, SHO of Daresi police arrested two persons Satish Kumar and Ravinder Singh, both residents of Ludhiana.
After their arrest, three motorcycles and three Activa scooters stolen from different locations using a master key were recovered. These vehicles include two Activas, and a motorcycle with registration numbers and one Activa and two motorcycles without registration numbers. The police will contact the owners of these vehicles and the same will be returned to them as per rules.
ADCP Verma added that the police remand for the accused had been obtained from the court for further interrogation, so that role of the accused in other theft incidents could be verified and more recoveries be made. ACP Davinder said one of the arrested accused, Ravinder, already had three cases registered against him at various police stations in Ludhiana.
In another case, the Basti Jodhewal police busted a gang of vehicle thieves and arrested two, and recovered three motorcycles. Those arrested have been identified as Rohit Kumar and Krishan Kumar. Three-day police remand of the accused has been obtained from the court.
