Dr Jaswinder Kaur, who oversaw the initiative, confirmed that a total of 488 patients availed the services. Of these, 260 were treated with ayurvedic remedies while 228 received homeopathic care.

The camp aimed at promoting holistic healing and provide accessible healthcare to underprivileged communities. Patients were offered personalised consultations, herbal treatments and guidance on lifestyle modifications rooted in traditional medicine systems.

“It’s rare to see such camps that offer both ayurvedic and homeopathic care without any cost. I brought my mother here for joint pain and doctors were attentive and kind. We’re grateful for the initiative,” said Harbhajan Singh, a resident of the village.

Local residents expressed appreciation for the initiative, citing the affordability and effectiveness of alternative therapies. Organisers hinted at plans to hold similar camps in other villages in coming months.
