The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) declared the results of Indian Certificate for Secondary Examination (ICSE, Class X) and the Indian School Certificate (ISC, Class XII) today, in which the girls performed well by clinching top positions in the city.

Students of Sat Paul Mittal School, Dugri, made the school proud by getting top positions in major streams (plus two). Even Class X topper is also from this school.

In the science stream of Class X, Kriti Garg has secured first position with 98.8% marks. Divyam Sareen is second with 97.2% marks and Aiman Jain is third with 97% marks. In the commerce stream, Prachi Bansal has topped with 98% marks, followed by Aarushi Sethi with 97.4% marks and Innayat Jain with 97.2% marks.

No merit list due to Covid this year

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the CISCE has not released the merit list this time. The Class X and XII results of the pending papers were given on the basis of students’ performance in the previous exams and internal assessment.

In the science stream of Class XII, Suvidhi Jain has secured first position with 98.25% marks, Hiyanoor Ghosh second position with 96.5% marks and Aakarsh Jain third position with 96.25% marks.

In the commerce stream, Ritin Malhotra is first with 97.75% marks, followed by Ryna Kalra (97.5% marks) and Aaditya Goyal and Adish Samsukha at joint third position with 96% marks.

Mehak Bakshi has topped with 99.25% marks in humanities. Palkin Lohia has secured second position with 95.75% marks and Krisha Mehra has bagged third position with 95.5% marks.

Bhupinder Gogia, Principal, Sat Paul Mittal School, lauded the efforts of the students and congratulated the parents and the staff for the stellar achievement.

Sacred Heart Convent School, Sec-39, Urban Estate,Chandigarh Road

In Class X, Ratanjot Singh Chawla, Manvi Mogla and Khushal Malhotra have secured 97.2% marks. Second position rests with Samreet Kaur who has obtained 96.8 per cent marks. Samridhi Aggarwal and Divya Vaid have shared third position by securing 96.4 per cent marks.

In the non-medical stream, Ishita Dhiman has got first position by securing 97.75 per cent marks. Mitika Singla has achieved second position with 97 per cent marks. At third position is Vaishnavi with 95 per cent marks. In the medical stream, Ridhima Khanna has got first position with 95 per cent marks while Muskan is second with 92 per cent marks. Third position is shared by Lakshay Gulati and Sunaina with a score of 91.75 per cent marks.

In the ISC commerce stream, first position is shared by Karishma Guglani and Manleen Kaur with 91.75 per cent marks. Anmol Verma has bagged second position by securing 90.75 per cent marks. Simran Kaur Chahal has secured third position with 88.25 per cent marks.

Ram Lal Bhasin Public School, Dugri

In Class X, Mehakveer has got first position with 91% marks, Nirmaljot second with 90% and Srishti third with 89.5% marks. In Class XII, Jasnoor Kaur has secured first position with 90% marks, Mehak second position and Luv Dogra has bagged 90 third position.

Sacred Heart Convent Senior Secondary School, Sahnewal

In Class X, Nazampreet Kaur has bagged first position by securing 97.8% marks, Hardil Singh second position with 97.4% marks and Ekam Saran and Gursimran Kaur have secured joint third position with 96.2%.

In Class XII non-medical, Evleen has secured first position with 94.8% marks. In the medical stream, Jeevanjot has obtained 93.3% marks. In the commerce stream, Vipanpreet has scored 88% marks. Seevam Aujla, Sanjana Sukhija, Gurjot Singh and Chirjot Singh have obtained 92% marks each, Jaijeet Singh Dhillon, Mohit Bhatia and Jasmanjit 91% marks each and Gurleen has secured 90% marks.
