Government Primary Smart School (GPSS), Jandiali, has been chosen as one of the best schools in the state. The Education Department had chosen total 23 government primary schools from Punjab for the year 2023-24.

Various parameters were kept by the department to choose the best schools from the state. GPSS, Jandiali, was among the 23 best schools. A function was held on Friday in which the award was given to the school by Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains.

Expressing happiness, district education officer Ravinder Kaur said the school had done exceptionally well. It was good that the school was recognised for its hard work and sincere efforts. The school head, Narinder Singh, received the award.
