Manmeet Singh, a student of Green Land Senior Secondary Public School, Jalandhar Bypass, Ludhiana, brought laurels to the school by clearing the JEE (Main) by scoring a 95.1 percentile in the general category.

The chairman-cum-director of the chain of Green Land Schools, Dr Rajesh Rudhra, congratulated the parents and said the school always strived to make its children capable of outshining their competitors in all fields.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
