Ludhiana: Tanya Khokhar, Advanced Nurse Practitioner from Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMC&H), has been awarded the 2nd Prize and the Emerging Scholar Award for her scientific paper oral presentation at the 4th PGIMER National Critical Care Nursing Conference (NCNCON-2025), PGIMER, Chandigarh. The conference brought together esteemed nursing professionals, healthcare experts, and scholars from across India. Tanya expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Anit Joseph, Deputy Nursing Superintendent (DNS) at DMC&H, for his unwavering trust in her capabilities and consistent guidance.

Doctor Joins Rome Foundation

Ludhiana: Dr Omesh Goyal, Professor of Gastroenterology at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, has been selected to represent India on the esteemed ‘Rome Partners Education Committee’ of the Rome Foundation, USA. This distinguished nine-member global panel consists of renowned experts and emerging leaders in Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders (FGIDs) from the USA, Europe, and Asia. The Rome Foundation, a global authority on FGIDs like Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), dyspepsia, and constipation, has played a key role in developing international practice guidelines and promoting education. Dr Goyal is only the second Indian to be selected for this prestigious committee.
