IMA holds installation ceremony
The local chapter of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) held an installation ceremony of its new team for 2025 here at the IMA House. Dr Dheeraj Aggarwal, IMA president, in his inaugural speech stressed upon starting IMA membership drive and urged members to attend IMA events in large numbers.
Dr Pradeep Mohindra, Civil Surgeon, was the chief guest for the event. Dr Pritpal Singh, outgoing president, welcomed the new team and apprised the members about the achievements of his team.
Dr Dheeraj introduced Dr Ruchi Mutneja as honorary secretary of Ludhiana IMA 2025. The elections results were also announced and Dr Pawan Dhingra was elected as the president elect for 2026, Dr Avtar Singh as senior vice-president, Dr Milan as vice-president, Dr Sachin as finance secretary and Dr Schumailla Bassi as club secretary.
