Jarkhar Academy shines during hockey tourney
Players of the Jarkhar Hockey Academy proved their mettle as they made it to the final in the junior and senior sections of the 15th Olympian Prithipal Singh Hockey Tournament.
In the junior section, Jarkhar Academy proved too good for Eknoor Academy, Tehang, securing a berth in the final where they meet Kila Raipur Hockey Centre which registered an equally emphatic 4-0 win against Nankana Sahib Public School, Rampur Channa.
In the senior section, Jarkhar Academy survived a scare against the defending champions Dr Kuldeep Singh Club, Moga, before wrapping up the issue 5-4 in which Gursatinder Singh Pargat of the winning side scored hat-trick.
