The Sports Authority of India’s training centre (STC) in Ludhiana will hold selection trials for judo under its residential and non-residential scheme on the premises, opposite Guru Nanak Stadium on February 20 and 21.
According to a press release issue by STC assistant director today, athletes between 12 to 18 years of age can participate in these trials. The aspirants have been asked to report at the venue on February 20 at 9 am. They were advised to bring their Aadhar cards, birth certificates, sports achievement certificates, and proof of education qualification, in addition to a fitness certificate and four passport size photographs.
The selected players will be provided facilities such as lodging and boarding (residential only), scientific sports training, medical insurance, sports kit, education expenses and competition exposure as per the guidelines of the Sports Authority of India.
