June 17-19, 23 dry days in Ludhiana West
In accordance with the Election Commission’s guidelines and to ensure a fair and orderly electoral process, Punjab Excise Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal has declared dry days from June 17 (6 pm) to June 19 (6 pm) and June 23 (Monday) during the counting of votes in the Ludhiana West assembly constituency and its 3-km adjoining areas.
Jorwal has mandated strict compliance with the orders, prohibiting the sale, distribution and consumption of alcoholic beverages in the specified areas during the designated periods. All establishments concerned are directed to enforce the restrictions diligently.
The polling for the Ludhiana West byelection will be held on June 19 and counting of votes on June 23.
