Khanna SSP holds late night crime meeting with station in-charges

Was called to control crime, solve pending cases, create strategy against drug trafficking

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Khanna, Jyoti Yadav held a special crime meeting with all station heads (SHOs) of the city late on Wednesday night. The meeting was called to control crime, settle pending cases and formulate a strategy against drug trafficking.

During the meeting, Dr Jyoti Yadav reviewed the status of pending criminal cases in police stations and said investigation of all cases be completed quickly and they should be sent to courts soon. The SSP instructed the SHOs that they should provide timely justice to all victims.

“The Khanna SSP held a late night crime meeting with SHOs. Emphasis was laid on resolving pending cases swiftly, tightening the noose around drug smugglers to create a drug-free society and taking strict action against anti-social elements to uphold law and order,” the Khanna police stated in a post shared on Facebook, a social networking site.

Besides, to maintain law and order, instructions were also given to keep a strict watch on anti-social elements, mischievous elements and people involved in serious crimes and to arrest them, if necessary.

Meanwhile, the SSP said it was a routine meeting with the team and instructions were issued to police officials.
