The Sports Authority of India (SAI) and the Athletics Federation of India (AFI) are jointly conducting the ASMITA League across the country to promote female participation, grassroots talent identification, and athletic development at the district level.

The following districts of Punjab will be hosting ASMITA League Athletics Competition: Barnala, Bathinda, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, SAS Nagar, Patiala and Sangrur. Ludhiana has been selected to host this competition on November 21 at Guru Nanak Stadium for U-14 and U-16 girls. Reporting time for the competition will be 9 am. All the female participants must bring DOB proof along.
