Mallah coaching centre girls romp home in district softball tourney
Ludhiana, August 8
Softball Coaching Centre, Mallah village in Jagraon tehsil, prevailed over Government Senior Secondary School, Mallah, 3-1 to lift the winners’ trophy in the girls’ section in the 27th Junior District Softball Championship, held here at Guru Nanak Stadium. Eleven teams took part in the championship.
In the match to decide the third position, Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Gill village, proved too good for Government Senior Secondary School, Kasabad, emerging triumphant 11-1.
Sukhdev Singh Aulakh gave away the prizes. Ranjit Singh, Nirmaljit Kaur (coach), Ravi Dutt, Sachin Thakur, Jitender Kumar and Kamaljit Kaur, among others were present there. — OC
