Many city roads waterlogged after 3 mm of rain

Ludhiana, July 30

Mere 3 mm of rain has led to waterlogging in many parts of the city. Still, the rain brought much-needed relief to the residents.

The maximum temperature recorded today was 36.8deg;C while the minimum stood at 31.0deg;C. Morning relative humidity recorded was 75 per cent while evening relative humidity was clocked in at 79 per cent. As per the forecast shared by Punjab Agricultural University, the weather is expected to remain cloudy with the possibility of light showers.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
