Mayor conducts surprise check at civic body office
With an aim to provide hassle-free services to residents, Mayor Inderjit Kaur conducted a surprise inspection for the second consecutive day in civic body offices and checked attendance of staff at the MC Zone D office in Sarabha Nagar here on Thursday.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Mayor had conducted a surprise inspection at the MC Zone A office near the Mata Rani chowk. During the inspection at the Zone D office, she also interacted with visitors and directed the staff to ensure their attendance in the offices, so that the public should not face any trouble. The Mayor said steps were also being taken to streamline the working of the civic body.
