MC razes illegal colony in Kanganwal
Taking action against illegal constructions, the Municipal Corporation (MC) demolished an illegal under- construction colony in the Kanganwal area here on Wednesday.
The building branch of the MC, Zone C, took action against the colony. The teams also razed an under- construction building being constructed inside the illegal colony.
Civic body officials said action was taken on directions of MC Commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal and the drive against illegal constructions would be continued in coming days too.
Meanwhile, the civic body officials appealed to city residents to start construction works only after getting building plans approved from the Municipal Corporation. Otherwise, strict action would be taken against illegal constructions.
