Meeting focuses on advancement in vegetable crop research

The 43rd Annual Group Meeting (AGM) of the All-India Coordinated Research Project (AICRP) on vegetable crops concluded successfully at the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU). The three-day scientific event, held from March 3 to 5, brought together prominent scientists, researchers and policymakers from across the country to discuss advancements, challenges and future strategies in vegetable crop research.

The final day of the AGM featured intensive discussions and technical sessions aimed at advancing research programmes designed to enhance vegetable productivity, nutritional security, and sustainability.

Delegates also visited PAU’s demonstration and experimental trial plots, where ongoing research on high-yielding, disease-resistant and climate-resilient vegetable varieties was showcased.
