“Having approached by the owners of establishments employing migrant labourers, we discussed the issue with senior functionaries in the administration, who assured safety and security of all residents, including migrant labourers,” said Vikas Krishan Sharma, maintaining that joint meetings of migrant labourers, their employers and councillors of respective wards were held to boost the morale of all stakeholders.
